Acre Hill (#8)
July 31 is National Mutt Day! So in honor of National Mutt Day, all month long we’d like to have everyone who has a mutt send us a picture of him or her and we will post our favorites next month. I will put a sign up in the clinic too, in order to remind everyone to submit their pictures. In other news, July 12th is Cow Appreciation Day, so you can celebrate that in any way you feel appropriate.
July 23rd is Mosquito Day, so as a friendly reminder, if your dog has not yet had a Snap Test done and been placed on a heartworm preventative, now is the time to do it. Please call us at 217-893-0313 to set up a time to have both of those done.
Now for the best part of the newsletter, it’s time to name the new Pet of the Month (and the crowd goes wild).
The July 2015 Pet of the Month is the one, the only, Otto!!! Otto is a very dear kitty cat to Acre Hill. He is 16 years old, and he was adopted back when he was only just a kitten. Everyone who has worked at Acre Hill over the past 16 years has had the pleasure of meeting Otto, since he has been coming here ever since he was adopted.
P.S. If anyone is every in the clinic and sees the gentleman in photo with Otto, his name is Chett McClure. He is going to the U of I to be a veterinarian and he comes in on occasion, usually on a Saturday, to get to know the business better.
